The Shreveport Historic Preservation Society is a non-profit organization with a mission to identify, document, and encourage the preservation of our historic buildings, places, and character, for the benefit of future generations.
About Us
The Shreveport Historic Preservation Society received its official status as a 501(c)3 organization on July 3, 2007. Concerned citizens, including historic preservationists, architects, educators, media professionals, and non-profit professionals, believe that a real need exists for an organized effort to preserve Shreveport’s history as exemplified by its buildings and architectural legacy.
